What these figures are
Counted are the company deeds in the Belgian Official Gazette that Checked has read and that name this notary as the notary before whom the act was passed: 376,512 read acts name a notary, as of 23-10-2026. The figure says how present a notary is in what we have read; it does not measure a practice's turnover or its work outside company law, and acts whose text names no notary count for nobody. An act's kind follows the publication's heading. A firm is shown only when at least three acts name one and the most named holds at least 60% of those mentions. A profile exists from three acts; the national share and the median are computed over 2,619 profiled notaries.
The notary is read from the text of the deed itself. Checked keeps reading back through the Belgian Official Gazette archive, newest deeds first, so these figures grow as older years are read.
